On 6th February, the Collaborative hosted a webinar with The Global Health Network. More than 160 attendees from 45 countries joined the session on “Returning to the Principles of Good Randomized Clinical Trials”.
The webinar featured experts from across the clinical trials ecosystem, who shared their perspectives on the value of the Guidance in addressing current challenges in RCTs. They explored how the Guidance can be used to enable informative, ethical, and efficient RCTs in low- and middle-income countries.
Professor Sir Martin Landray, Senior Lead of GCTC, said:
“The fundamental principles of good trials are relevant wherever you are running your trial and whatever health challenge you are tackling. This discussion with colleagues around the world highlighted how a common understanding of what truly matters for good trials can help generate better evidence and better healthcare for all.”
