The Collaborative hosts a webinar with The Global Health Network on updated ICH GCP guidelines

On 12th February 2025, the Collaborative was pleased to host another webinar with The Global Health Network (TGHN).

We explored the latest updates to the International Council of Harmonisation of Technical Requirements for Pharmaceuticals for Human Use (ICH) updated Good Clinical Practice (GCP) Guidelines.

The session, Making good clinical trials easier & more equitable: Updated ICH GCP guidelines, was attended by more than 1200 participants in 108 countries.

Nick Medhurst (Head, the Collaborative) chaired the webinar, which featured presentations from:

  • Martin Landray (Senior Lead, the Collaborative; CEO, Protas) on ‘Better regulation for better clinical trials – Some hope?’
  • Trudie Lang (Director, TGHN) on ‘The realities of ICH-GCP application in varied settings – Can R3 updates help in addressing global inequity in health research?’

Attendees were also introduced to the Collaborative’s response to the draft ICH GCP Annex 2 guideline. Our response was developed with input from experts across healthcare, research, and industry.
